“I wanted a perfect ending. Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme, and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next. Delicious Ambiguity.”Gilda Radner

“I can live with doubt and uncertainty and not knowing. I think it is much more interesting to live not knowing than to have answers that might be wrong. If we will only allow that, as we progress, we remain unsure, we will leave opportunities for alternatives. We will not become enthusiastic for the fact, the knowledge, the absolute truth of the day, but remain always uncertain … In order to make progress, one must leave the door to the unknown ajar.” Richard P. Feynman

“As human beings, not only do we seek resolution, but we also feel that we deserve resolution. However, not only do we not deserve resolution, we suffer from resolution. We don’t deserve resolution; we deserve something better than that. We deserve our birthright, which is the middle way, an open state of mind that can relax with paradox and ambiguity.”Pema Chödrön

Motivational Quotes

"The critical ingredient is getting off your butt and doing something. It's as simple as that. A lot of people have ideas, but there are few who decide to do something about them now. Not tomorrow. Not next week. But today. The true entrepreneur is a doer, not a dreamer."- Nolan Bushnell

"I never perfected an invention that I did not think about in terms of the service it might give others... I find out what the world needs, then I proceed to invent."- Thomas Edison

"The greatest reward in becoming a millionaire is not the amount of money that you earn. It is the kind of person that you have to become to become a millionaire in the first place."- Jim Rohn

Happiness in life is about stepping into necessary uncertainty and not needing to know the outcome – because if we are honest, we rarely, if ever, know.

All of life is a giant leap of faith. And what holds us back is the obsessive and debilitating need for certainty of outcome ahead of time. But that is not how life works. Life requires faith, boldness and courage to step into the unknown with the knowing that my heart and intuition are always guiding me and know the way. As I step out of the way, a way will be made.

And as I take a step, even though it looks like there is nothing underneath me, I know that I will be supported.-Mastin Kipp

"We need to accept that we won't always make the right decisions, that we'll screw up royally sometimes - understanding that failure is not the opposite of success, it's part of success." Arianna Huffington

"Keep going on hikes, keep having your friends in your life, keep that downtime sacred as well because as hard as you work in any job, it's really nice to have the relaxing de-stressors. Stress is the worst thing. That's the ultimate demise of any good thing." Dianna Agron

"It's your life-but only if you make it so. The standards by which you live must be your own standards, your own values, your own convictions in regard to what is right and wrong, what is true and false, what is important and what is trivial. When you adopt the standards and the values of someone else or a community, or a pressure group, you surrender your own integrity. You become, to the extent of your surrender, less of a human being."-Eleanor Roosevelt

"I think we all wish we could erase some dark times in our lives. But all of life's experiences, bad and good, make you who you are. Erasing any of life's experiences would be a great mistake."- Luis Miguel

Desire is the starting point of all achievement, not a hope, not a wish, but a keen pulsating desire which transcends everything.

Inspiration

"Communication is the single most important part of creating a healthy relationship. A relationship without communication is like a beautiful flower without water and sunlight, it will quickly wither and die. I don't care if you think what you have to say is hurtful or you are afraid of expressing yourself, speak your Truth. Be kind, but speak up and be honest. It's easy to communicate when it's good news and happy times, but it takes a truly authentic and courageous person to communicate openly and honestly when darkness falls on a relationship."Jackson Kiddard

“When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bonds: Your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction, and you find yourself in a new, great, and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be.”Patanjali

"Fear is excitement without the breath.” — Fritz Perls

“The best way to not feel hopeless is to get up and do something. Don’t wait for good things to happen to you. If you go out and make some good things happen, you will fill the world with hope, you will fill yourself with hope.”-Barack Obama

"It's simple. Life is messy. Your dreams are real. Only you have to believe it. Excuses are non. You're always taken care of. Your thoughts create your life. What's happening to others has nothing to do with you. The future is not the past. Fear is an illusion. True love comes from within. The time is now. What are you waiting for?"Jackson Kiddard

"The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled. For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers."M. Scott Peck

"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."Frank Herbert

"The only way to learn forgiveness is to be betrayed. You might understand the intellectual concept of forgiveness, but you will only learn how to truly forgive when someone has done something that requires you to love them and let it go. Life demands these hurtful experiences for you to learn how forgiveness feels, it could be no other way. If there is anyone in your life that you must forgive, instead of seeing them as someone who has hurt you, try to see them as someone who was sent to teach you forgiveness and thank them for this precious gift - then forgive them, and let it go."Jackson Kiddard

Quotables XXX

"If you want a loving relationship in your life and can't figure out why one is eluding you, remember this; you can either choose Love or choose fear.

When you choose Love your options narrow because you have chosen to walk a narrower path of trusting your intuition and feelings over your five senses. You cannot seek for Love, since you can only have what already are. And if you have Love this means you must give it away with no expectation of return.

Any expectation of return is not love, but fear of not having love creep back in.

Choosing fear outsources your happiness and makes someone else responsible for the way you feel. You seek for love because you believe you lack it.

Trust that you are perfect Love in this moment and only allow in a person that resonates this vibration.

Do not try to change someone, when you do this you deny the Love inside you by choosing to deny what is NOW. Love can only exists now, when you try to change someone into an idea of what you want them to be you have decided to be in a relationship with your projection of a possible potential someone else. You are fooling yourself if you think trying to change someone will make you happy. Instead, change in yourself the things you think the other person should change.

This is why you are not happy and fulfilled now.

The Truth is that finding True Love is effortless for those who sit in Trust that they already have everything that could ever be sought after. This Trust will attract a person who is equally fulfilled; this is the only type of person capable of Love , one who has Love to give away. "-Jackson Kiddard

"What's difficult in life is to stay centered when someone does or says something that tempts us to close our hearts because their heart is closed. That is hard. But that is also how we grow. We go through those circumstances in order to evolve people who can hold to our loving center no matter what the world throws us."-Marianne Williamson

"You can not get sick enough to help sick people get better. You can not get poor enough to help poor people thrive. It is only in your thriving that you have anything to offer anyone. "When you are happy for no reason, you bring happiness to your outer experiences rather than trying to extract happiness from them. You don't need to manipulate the world around you to try to make yourself happy. You live from happiness, rather than for happiness"-Marci Shimoff

"We grow great by dreams. All big mean are dreamers. They see things in the soft haze of a spring day or in the red fire of a long winter's evening. Some of us let these great dreams die, but others nourish and protect them; nurse them through bad daystill they bring them to the sunshine and light, which comes always to those who sincerely hope that their dreams will come true.-Woodrow T. "Love can be hard. Love requires you to be kind when you are angry, patient when you feel anxious, compassionate when you judge others, caring when you feel apathetic, trust when you feel wronged, let go when you want to hold on, know that the other person is you, take risks when you're scared to always see the lesson and never look back once you've decided."-Jackson Kiddard

"If you listen closely you'll hear a small voice hidden in the dim shade of all your fears that whispers, 'this isn't real.'"Jackson Kiddard, author and polymath.

"As you begin to take action toward the fulfillment of your goals and dreams, you must realize that not every action will be perfect. Not every action will produce the desired result. Not every action will work. Making mistakes, getting it almost right, and experimenting to see what happens are all part of the process of eventually getting it right."Jack Canfield, is the best-selling author of Chicken Soup for the Soul.

“Anything that looks like chaos and calamity in your life is just the Universe’s way of saying ‘Trust me and we’ll make a life together that is beyond your wildest dreams.’ The key is to trust. There’s a bigger vision and purpose inside you that your small brain or Ego can imagine. The Universe has bigger and better plans for you. It’s your job to be of service and not get in your own way. You can only receive what you believe. When you trust you open yourself up to greater possibilities outside of your control or imagination. So what’s it gunna be? Fear or trust?”Anon

"Each of us has an inner dream that we can unfold if we will just have the courage to admit what it is. And the faith to trust our own admission. The admitting is often very difficult. Quotables XVIII

A few words from Mastin Kipp:

Love is an action, a choice. Love is not really an emotion.

To Love someone is to choose to show up to be devoted to The Divine through that person.

So often in life these days we think that Love is easy or that Love only feels good, but that is not the full extent of what Love is – especially relationship Love.

People think that relationship Love is something that must mask your true feelings, it must always be a euphoric high of some kind or that Love must be a trade.

But that’s not what Love is.

Love is a constant offering to serve to the Heart of the person you are in a relationship with. Love is a constant surrendering of your protective ego, so that the Heart can open even more and show you the unknown beauty of its depths.

Love transcends language, religion and belief systems. Love is the deepest gift that we could ever be given by someone and it’s the greatest gift that we could ever give ourselves.

Love is not a trade. Love is not a power trip. Love is not some grandiose expression of infatuation. Love is a humble and subtle power that guides us to grow into titans of giving.

Love asks us to see beyond the fear of our partner, to dive deeper than their ego would want us to and to not leave, even when all that is triggering us wants us to run.

Love shows up when fear is present and asks for more… Love is bigger, Love is brighter, Love is more powerful than any other force in the Uni-verse, because at the core of every cell in the Uni-verse is the deep yearning and desire to Love and be Loved.

Love does not march in with pomp and circumstance. Love whispers. Love silently beckons us to get over ourselves so that we can see the beauty that lay within us and every other sacred soul.

We were not sent to judge, for judgment is just a request for Love. We were sent to Love the parts of ourselves and the world that lack it. We were sent to be the Love in the seeming void of Love.

We, indeed, are the answer. No one is coming, for we have already come.

Our job is to wake up to Love and then be it.

Our job is to Love.

Quotables XVII

"How you think about a problem is more important than the problem itself - so always think positively."

"Believe it is possible to solve your problem. Tremendous things happen to the believer. So believe the answer will come. It will."- Norman Vincent Peale, best-selling author of "The Power of Positive Thinking".

"The thing always happens that you really believe in, and the belief in a thing makes it happen." - Frank Lloyd Wright, was an American architect, interior designer, writer and educator, who designed more than 1,000 projects, which resulted in more than 500 completed works.

"Some of the biggest challenges in relationships come from the fact that most people enter a relationship in order to get something: they're trying to find someone who's going to make them feel good. In reality, the only way a relationship will last is if you see your relationship as a place that you go to give, and not a place that you go to take." - Anthony Robbins, is a best-selling author and speaker.

"Be the kind of person you would like to be with. Some people come into our lives, make footprints on our hearts and we are never the same. People are lonely because they build walls instead of bridges." - Joseph F. Newton

"Successful relationships are built upon the foundation of bringing committed love to the table every day, communicating your feelings, receiving your partner's feelings and setting healthy boundaries to maintain a sense of independence within the relationship. This allows for love to be given and received, proper adjustments to be made if the line of communication gets fuzzy and still gives each of you the freedom to be yourself and bring forth your unique creative expression.

This combination will manifest the strongest and healthiest relationships in your life.

And remember, the purpose of relationships is to be happy, to learn and to CO-create a life together." - Jackson Kiddard, author & polymath.

Today doesn't feel like Monday

January 7th, 2013

I thought I was doing so well and then today happened. Emi stopped by today and I told her that Justin and I broke up and that she should contact him about YESS Camp...Then after a semi crazy morning I did the unthinkable and called him. I thought that the conversation would go in a completely different direction but it didn't go well and I ended up in tears with clenched teeth. I even told Brandi that I called him and she wasn't happy. I can't wait to see her tomorrow!

Every day is a new day and I must keep pushing forward.

Quotables XVI

"If today was it, would you die knowing you did your best?

If tomorrow never came, would you be proud of the last thing you said to each person you love?

If "someday" was only "now", would you do everything you've always put off?

If you knew you had a choice about what kind of life you could be living, would you choose different?

If you knew failure is impossible, what would you do?

If it were true that everyone you meet is you in another body, how would you treat them?

If love was the true currency of the Universe and the more you gave away the more you received, how would you spend it?

If fear were the biggest illusion and the greatest lie of all time, how would you choose to live your life?

If the Universe always supported a life lived towards achieving dreams, how big would you dream?"

- Jackson Kiddard, author & polymath

Quotables XV

"Love can be hard. Love requires you to be kind when you are angry, patient when you feel anxious, compassionate when you judge others, caring when you feel apathetic, trust when you've been wronged, let go when you want to hold on, know that the other person is you, take risks when you're scared, to always see the lesson and never look back once you've decided." - Jackson Kiddard

"What does patience feel like? It's a subtle unfolding with time as your ally. You feel relaxed and trust that it will all work out, even if in this very moment, there's no clear path to the end. It feels like the subtle uneasiness of allowing all you're uncomfortable with to be exactly as it is." - Jackson Kiddard

Quotables XIV

"Vision without action is a daydream. Action without vision is a nightmare."- Japanese Proverb
You're going to ruffle some feathers if you want to fly, it's inevitable. It is impossible to please everybody. It's far better to meet your own expectations and let someone else down than to let yourself down to meet someone else's expectations. If you're serious about success knowing this will help you get there." - Jackson Kiddard

"When you have an emotional reaction to what you see, you are judging. That is your signal that you have an issue inside of yourself - with yourself - not with the other person. If you react to evil, look inside yourself for the very thing that so agitates you, and you will find it. If it were not there, you will simply discern, act appropriately, and move on."
- Gary Zukav, page 157 from his book "Soul to Soul".Zukav is a best-selling inspirational author and a former Green Beret during the war in Vietnam.

"According to A Course in Miracles, there are only two basic emotions: one is fear, the other is love. You may fear the disapproval of others. Take that risk and you'll discover that you receive more approval when you don't seek it than when you do. You may fear the unknown. Take that risk as well. Wander in there, asking yourself, "What is the worst thing that can happen if this doesn't work out?" The truth is that you will just move beyond it. You're not going to starve to death or be tortured if it doesn't work out... Fear knocked at the door. Love answered and no one was there." - Wayne Dyer, page 29 from his book "10 Secrets for Success and Inner Peace." Dyer is a popular American self-help advocate, author and lecturer.

Quotables XIII

Faith first, mindset second, goals third, action fourth, persistence always.
-Mastin Kipp

"No one can create negativity or stress within you. Only you can do that by virtue of how you process your world."- Wayne Dyer
"When you are in alignment with who-you-really-are, you cannot help but uplift those with whom you come into contact. Your value to those around you hinges upon only one thing: your personal alignment with Source. And the only thing you have to give to another is an example of that alignment-which they may observe, then desire, and then work to achieve-but you cannot give it to them. Everyone is responsible for the thoughts they think and the things that they choose as their objects of attention."
- Esther Hicks

Masaru Emoto says on Gratitude:
There is a special combination, which is love plus the combination of thanks and appreciation reflected in the English word gratitude. Just one of these is not enough. Love needs to be based in gratitude, and gratitude needs to be based in love. These two words together create the most important vibration. And it is even more important that we understand the value of these words.

Quotables XII

"One of the most loving things you can do for another person is let them make their own mistakes, learn their own lessons and endure in the contrast of a life they don't really want. People only really change when they've hit rock bottom - sometimes the most loving thing you can do for a person is to let them and be there to help pick up the pieces. Permanent change comes from within, no one can give it to you."
- Jackson Kiddard, author & polymath.

"It is very easy to be tricked by the circumstances of the present moment. But, dear seeker, remember that everything changes! Life is an exercise not in adding, but in constantly letting go of what you know and who you think you are and to have the courage to become brand new. When we fixate on the past, we welcome it into our present moment, which keeps the past alive. When you give up the fight
THAT is when you'll take flight!"Jackson Kiddard

The key to success in the world is relationships. The key to understanding other people is understanding yourself. We all have common human bonds that bring us together, that unite us and that feed our Souls. Tapping into and understanding this brings Love, compassion and clarity and evokes our common human essence.
From this place, all things in this world are truly possible.
- Mastin Kipp The Daily Love

"You can have anything you want if you want it badly enough. You can be anything you want to be, do anything you set out to accomplish if you hold to that desire with singleness of purpose."-Abraham Lincoln

Quotables XI

"Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don't resist them - that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like."
- Lao Tzu, the father of Taoism.

"There is no skill better to acquire than to be conscious of the present moment, be willing to let go of everything you've ever learned and jump into a spontaneous, weird and unknown new life. All the planning in the world can never prepare you for the time when you must leap into the unknown all by yourself. Welcome to that moment."
- Jackson Kiddard, author & polymath.

"What you still need to know is this: before a dream is realized, the Soul of the World tests everything that was learned along the way. It does this not because it is evil, but so that we can, in addition to realizing our dreams, master the lessons we've learned as we've moved toward that dream. That's the point at which, as we say in the language of the desert, one 'dies of thirst just when the palm trees have appeared on the horizon. Every search begins with beginner's luck. And every search ends with the victor's being severely tested."
- Paulo Coelho , from his best-selling book The Alchemist.

Quotables X

"My new favorite word is 'awkward.'...The reason we need to be in search of awkward is that awkward is the barrier between us and excellence, between where we are and the remarkable. If it were easy, everyone would have done it already, and it wouldn't be worth the effort."- Seth Godin, is a SUPER smart dude, best-selling author and speaker.

Fear is your friend, showing you where to go. Comfort is the enemy that seduces your dreams away from you. Today, let us step out. Today I'm stepping out. Today you are stepping out, too, to face these silly fears and call their bluff, to thank them for being the compass showing you where to go.

Today, your Higher Self is in control and takes a risk. What'll it be?
-Mastin Kipp of The Daily Love

"Adversity is like a strong wind. It tears away from us all but the things that cannot be torn, so that we see ourselves as we really are."
 - Arthur Golden, from his best-selling book 'Memoirs of a Geisha'.

"When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hang on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn."
- Harriet Beecher Stowe, was an American abolitionist and author.
